HOMELESS WOMAN We met

Saturday night after our timeshare ordeal, we went to a few different IRISH and English pubs. Then ended up at a Place called: COCONUT willies! Was a fun crowd and they had a KAREOKE Contest with 50 bucks for the first prize! ~*~*~*~ Jimmy sang the classic "Come Monday" and I sang GREAT BALLS OF FIRE,,, lol just a fun song to sing,, The contest didn't start till late so there was plenty of time for everyone to sing. There was this girl, or young woman and she had a fantastic voice. She seemed like she could of been Spanish or Cuban, Long black hair , nice figure and the face of an Angel, she was very pretty. Guessing in her late 20's. early 30's........ I told her she would do great to sing Janis Joplin and she said, HOW DOES IT GO?? .... LOL ... I said, No , she was a singer and you have the PERFECT voice to sing her tunes, My mind went BLANK and I could not think of one single Janis Joplin song for anything, neither could Jimmy, our minds went BLANK ........... The night went on I kept trying to think, finally I asked the guy running the Kareoke, and he said, MAGGIE MAGEE,,, OH YA, so I went up to the girl and told her and she knew what I was talking about then, I THINK she did anyhow... She sat up front with a man who seemed dirty, his clothing was dirty denim and I thought WHAT is that girl doing with this man? She was in a nice Black leather skirt, below her knees style, not short, Black boots and a pretty sweater top, dressed very conservative .................... THE NIGHT WENT ON and the REALLY REALLY good singers came in to enter at the LAST MIN........ and WOW, they sang like they just got off the DISNEY SHOWBOAT,,, LOL so we all lost, BUT they did have the best voices ............ MEANWHILE, I look over to see the girl with the long black hair, moving her suitcase about and I thought, WHAT IS SHE DOING? She must not of booked into her room was all I could think of. ........... This bar was in the WESLEY Hotel so that is why I thought that .......... Later I head to the restroom and the door will not open it is jammed.. I push harder on the door and ooops, there is HER suitcase blocking the door. She said "OH SORRY I have to change my clothes"... I say, OK, and she lets me in, I move by and enter a STALL. Still wondering about her, I finally ask ::: WHY ARE U CHANGING YOUR CLOTHES? She said, she needed to get more comfortable for her long walk. I said, ARE YOU NOT IN THE HOTEL HERE? She said NO......... By now I am out of the stall, washing my hands. I turn to her and say ARE YOU OK??? She said, YES YES, Everything is Ok, I am just homeless right now and came in here to try to win $50.00. Too bad those other singers came in? ... We both agreed about how those people knew what they were doing to come in at the last min like that to sing.......... I told her she had a very beautiful voice and she had no Confidence at all.......... She was very insecure. she seemed timid and shy ........... I had to ask her ....... WHY ARE YOU HOMELESS? I explained how shocked I was to see a beautiful girl like herself with no place to go?? She said her husband beat her and she lost custody of there 3 kids ............. on and on, BUT WHO WAS I TOO JUDGE ........... She did NOT look like a drug-o girl to me and she was not drunk either........ I asked her if she had tried a shelter and she said she did not get along with someone who worked there, SOMETHING happened to her at the shelter I guess ............ Then I asked her WHAT ABOUT A CHURCH. Have you tried a church for help? She said it just happens that TOMORROW she was going to a Methodist Church that someone told her she could get some help there. ........... I felt so bad for this girl, My heart was crying as TEARS filled my eyes, I wanted to help her and did not know how .......... So, I just asked her: DO YOU BELIEVE IN GOD? And she said she used to but she can not see how A GOD would let all these things happen to her. She felt GOD did not like her and that she was being punished ........... I looked her in the eye and said GOD DOES LOVE YOU , He is READY to help you, BUT you MUST help yourself and TRUST in him ... If you do not TRUST his will , he will NOT be able to guide you ....... It is hard to understand WHY we have to go through the things we go through, BUT there is NO USE trying to understand it all, JUST TRUST GOD's will for you .................. I suddenly felt like a preacher, AND I AM NOT.... It got tense and she gathered her things we left that bathroom ................. I went to my purse and my husband and started to dig for some cash ........ Jimmy was like: WHAT ARE YOU DOING?.. I said Jim, you know why that girl has her suitcases? He then knew and said, SHE'S HOMELESS .. His heart broke too and he dug through his pockets ... It was almost 2:30 AM, Saturday Night and we were down to a few bucks ourselves .. Counted up almost $40.00 , rolled it up and I went over to her ............ I said HERE, Just put this in your pocket and save it for later, No need to say a word ........ She looked at me in disbelieve, I have her a hug and left ....... Few min she came running over to me, THREW her arms around me and said: THANK YOU, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, I said Oh sweety, I just wish I could do more............. SHE LEFT With that grubby man , pulling her suitcase, dragging another. Could tell that guy was just another homeless person she must of talked into going with her to try out ............. I COULD NOT get that girl out of my MIND ALL NIGHT LONG .... I feel asleep PRAYING FOR HER ............................... When I woke up in the morning, our plan was to go to the water park, BUT I WAS SOOOOOOOOO SICK ... I was weak and could not stop being sick ... It was like I had a Hang-over yet I had NO DRINK ........ I hugged the holiday Inn bowl , I took a bath and tried and tried to snap out of it ....... I could not ... I cried and cried with sickness ....... My husband loaded me in the van and we headed home ... I managed not to get sick during the drive, but I came very close .............. BUT I WAS NOT SMOKING ........... I have smoked for 20 some years, Only quit while pregnant 2 times ............ I DID NOT PLAN TO QUIT , but while I was sick I kept thinking about that girl, SHE DID NOT SMOKE, but I know Jimmy and I smoked WAY too much this weekend .............. While being sick, NO WAY would I smoke... I tried a puff half way home and almost gagged ............... TODAY IS MONDAY, almost 9:30 PM AND I STILL HAVE NOT SMOKED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM IN SHOCK, MY KIDS, MY MOTHER, ARE IN SHOCK, MY HUSBAND WHILE PUFFING AWAY, SAID HE CAN NOT BELIEVE IT ................. I HAVE NO CLUE WHY THIS HAS HAPPENED ............ ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF IS... For years and years and years, While saying my evening prayers, I would pray :: DEAR LORD, LET ME WAKE UP IN THE MORNING WITH NO DESIRE TO SMOKE ............ And it would never happen ................. BUT NOW I FEEL A BLESSING CAME UPON ME ............ ALL BECAUSE OF THAT HOMELESS GIRL AT COCONUT WILLIES, SATURDAY NIGHT, MAY 14th ................ THE DAY AFTER MY 44th BIRTHDAY ................. I WAS BLESSED, I was relieved from MY PAIN, My guilt of smoking, ITS GONE .................. I have NO DESIRE, I never DREAMED it would be so easy....................... IN GOD's TIME my prayers have been answered, NOT IN MY TIME ..................... In HIS TIME ............... Is GOD AWESOME OR WHAT????????????????

TIMESHARES ARE A RIP OFF

OK, Friday, May 13th! Went to the DIXIE STAMPEDE it was a Great Time! The Food was excellent and the show was awesome! We sat on the side of the SOUTH! Only because the NORTH side was full! .. LOL..
I can highly recommend that place for a FUN Night Out! .... Then we finished up at a Pub on International Drive called:: O'SHUCKS. They had a Lady there named Katie and she was doing the Kareoke! Learned some New ideas for our Kareoke Business. -- seemed like a LONG Drive back to our HOLIDAY INN on I92. Since I am a responsible designated driver, I had NO DRINK all weekend either!! ..........................................................................................................

Saturday we had to go listen to the TIME-SHARE speech at 1:00 and WHAT A RIP-OFF that stuff is. Well, I guess its OK if you NEVER want to see your money again, OR if you LIVE for 2 week Vacations to Stay in a place like that AND STILL pay yearly MAINTENANCE on TOP of the first price you paid... It is SO INTERESTING, How when they first start, Ok the price is $20,000.00 and you say NO, NO too much,... Then they come back, OK TODAY my manager said we could DROP THE PRICE , it is NOW $12,000.00 ...... OK, don't worry bout it, we can still set you up in one bedroom vacation, once a year for ONLY $8,000.00 , oh yes, you still have to pay $329.00 a year maintenance fee, AND NO SORRY, there is NO GUARANTEE that that maintenance fee will NEVER Go up either, Can not lock that price in FOREVER. So yes, next year the maintenance fee could be only $500.00 and you will have NO WARNING , sorry you did SIGN UP SO, YOU HAVE TO PAY.............. and THE BLACK OUT DATES, you can not use it during prime-time BECAUSE you paid only 8 grand for your unit, BUT if you can pay MORE we can UPGRADE YOU TO NO BLACK OUT DATES for only $10,000.00. and Yes, the maintenance fee will ALWAYS have the option to go up, can NOT do anything about that ..........
NO,NO,NO...................... TIME for the powercloser to come in -------- WHY DO YOU NOT WANT TO BUY THIS???? Have no Money, Can't you BORROW from Family or friends??? We can finance you or Better yet, YOU COULD ROB A BANK !!! There is always a way to get the money, NEVER tell a time share you HAVE NO MONEY ............. I said, YES WE HAVE THE MONEY , but I see NO RETURN ON MY INVESTMENT .................... Oh they say ............ No Timeshare is not about making money when its time to resell, BUT IT IS about staying at a GREAT PLACE FOR A WEEK OR 2 WEEKS ONCE A YEAR FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE ///////////// WOW, Have u not heard of TRAVELOCITY??? I Can stay at GREAT PLACES cheaper than that with NO YEARLY MAINTENANCE FEE EVER!!! ONE TIME FEE FOR THE WEEK and then GOODBYE ... awww NO, Have NO DEED TO WILL TO THE KIDS, but can share my ON-LINE BOOKING WITH THEM FOR FREE!!!!! I swear, Timeshares are SUCH A RIP .............. Just give me my FREE WATER PARK Tickets and WE ARE OUT OF HERE ...... LOL

OFF TO ORLANDO !!

Gotta start packing in a bit. Going to Orlando for the weekend! Will be a birthday get-away! We have free tickets to Wet-n-Wild water park, will be interesting! And I would like to go to see the show at Dolly Pardons new place, Dixie Stampede. I saw it on the Travel Channel and it looks fun! Seems a bit like the same format as medieval Times. Will see what we FEEL like doing. Mainly wanting some R&R. ~*~*~ My Grandmother comes home from Rehab the 17th. Today the Therapy bus brought her here and we had a trial run of learning to get her around in her "Pad"... She was tickled pink to visit and hated to leave. All went well, but could tell she was in a bit of pain so I snuck her 3 Advils and a drink! She gave me a WINK ;). ... I can see the headlines now : GRANDDAUGHTER SECRETLY SLIPPING DRUGS TO GRANDMA DURING REHAB VISIT! .. LOL ......... Anyhow, been listing records on eBay, NO idea if they are any good , just hope to get them out of my Garage! I think Brooker T & The Mg's may be a good one! CLICK TO VIEW
